Budapest Underground Partyguide - May, the big turning point

There are some regular turning points in everyone's life. Such things are for example birthdays when people become one year older and at least a hundred percent wiser. Another turning point in many people's life is the beginning of a new year which is quite often the beginning of a 'new life'. Or just think about final exams at school which are just the perfect symbols of freedom.
One regular turning point for Budapest Nightlife is surely May. This is the time, when step by step open-air bars just 'conquer' the city. 'Regular parties' are organised more randomly, and there is an always growing possibility that you'll find the greatest night somewhere out.
Still, for this weekend we collected for you some of those 'regular parties' - enjoy them until you can :)

Budapest Underground Partyguide - 100% what you are looking for

BARTY
This is the word that describes best what we offer for you this weekend. Basically, that is what Budapest nightlife offers: nice places - could be called bars, but not clubs for sure; and nice music - possibly with some dancing as well. If you are lucky, this wonderful 'package' consists not only of drinking and music, but meeting nice people, having great chats and whatever you can imagine...

Happy Birthday 88-year-old Grandpa and 100-year-old houses!- expat Amrit's blogpost

Hey magyar readers! ever wondering how expats see us? So read Amrit's articles, where she tells about her life in Budapest...

I left the US in search of surer footing. Budapest may seem an odd choice. By all first impressions, given the unfamiliar language, the lack of my own social network, and the uncertainty of finding employment, it appears more like a place where I’d be unbalanced and flailing. But good things are happening, and I’m beginning to feel at home for the first time in far too long.
