whats up budapest? party again - regular underground partyguide

Oh, we always go underground in Vittula...
I have never been sure if this story with the bears sleeping - and probably dreaming - through the cold winters is true or not. One thing I know is that people tend to behave like these bears (even if it's maybe a myth only!) in this period of the year. They just love to spend time in their warm beds, sleep a lot and feel sick even from the thought of the freezing cold weather. The city has been quite quiet these weeks, but maybe there's something the coldest-blooded bear should see as well.

Friday
'Are you on the list?'
'Which list?'

'The cool list, of course...'

If not yet, you can meet some of the guys from the list and just adopt the moves and expressions of them. Some cool-listed guys will be playing and entertaining you on Friday night in Anker
LavaLava party at a new venue - at least newly mentioned in the guide - on Friday night. As Corvintető is closed these days (so better not even to check it), the party has moved to Orfeum. As the place is just underneath a fancy hotel on the ring, its look is quite fancy compared to some other clubs and bars. Something new regarding the place, but don't worry, the good old tech sounds will make you feel at home.

Saturday
Trafó has been a legendary place in Budapest nightlife, which - since a while - has a new name, called Mappa Club. Now some parties that took place in Mono (which has been closed), move to Mappa, so does Propaganda. Good music is guaranteed, selected by talented young guys.

Haven't been to Szikra for a while? On Saturday night all the people who love or hate television ads might find the 'pre ad-gobblers night' very entertaining. After filling your mind and soul with all the mess of the consumer society, you will surely love relaxing and dancing till the morning.

Maybe your bed is the best place for sleeping and dreaming - but if you want these dreams come true, you'll have to move out.
