whats up budapest? sping break! - regular underground partyguide

Far back in the past history and weather might have made an arrangement, so these days the very beginning of spring usually concurs a long weekend. This nice "gift" of the past gives everyone some time to remember the revolution in 1848 as well as to have some rest and enjoy the short break. What else could be a more up-filling and restful way of spending the four days off than partying two days in the weekend and then doing a little nothing on the following ones?

Friday
This Friday has a little smell of past. Budapest underground nightlife once has been loud of the so called lollipop parties. The lollipop parties were born eight years ago, when the nightlife of the city had been in it's infancy.  As all the cool kids who visited regularly the lollipop parties, must be so hungry for the spirit of the good old days by now, a huge party in Roham is more than likely. The two lollipop djs are playing after the concert of Spacesh!t

And guess which place is having its reborn these days? Blog Club once has been the legendary Jailhouse, where actually the above mentioned lollipop parties took place for a while. What a coincidence - one might think. Instead of thinking too much of the past, leave home early to have time to check in Blog Club as well for the LavaLava party!

Saturday
After spending Friday with some favorite Hungarian Djs, Saturday night seems to be a little more international. Merlin is hosting a party with some djs from my two favorite Bs - Berlin and Budapest. The two cities must be a proof for a nice party and Merlin is at least  airy enough for your crazy dancemoves.

If nothing satisfies you but a perfect sound system, go to A38 ship on Saturday night, where amongst many, Krafty Kuts is playing. I know many of you have already had enough of breakbeat, but believe me, a nice, crowded party is coming to the ship - as always.

Tough party-people don't have to worry - the guide is for two days only, but the nightlife won't go on holiday on the following two days either!
