Budapest Underground Partyguide - Friday Yes, Saturday No

I think it is quite easy to spoil kids. The biggest mistake is to always let them do what they want. They never face real difficulties, things usually happen the way they want them to...

I have some good news, you won't get (very) spoiled this weekend. After a bright sunny week (that you have spent in school or in an office) weather turns cold and windy for the weekend. Also for some reason most of the great parties are on Friday, and Saturday is a little lagging behind. Anyway, be proud of staying a nice, normal person and enjoy whatever comes in its natural way!

Friday
We are always seeking what is new in town. This weekend's most up-to-date party will take place in Dürer Kert, where a Hungarian and a British band is going to play some songs from they brand new album. Neo is one of the most famous Band in Hungary, which has gone through many changes during the past few years, so maybe a concert is the perfect place to know what's going on with them. Hurry up, because before them DIOYY will make you go crazy, as a solid warm-up.

We are also desperately seeking what is pure and simple in town. What else could be more crystal-clear than a night with only minimal techno? Merlin is hosting a party with some French, Italian and Hungarian djs to show us how enjoyable it is to concentrate all night on one music genre which can totally stir not only your body but your mind as well.

One other thing we are always keeping an eye on is what is happening in the clubs that are just in an uprising, and in places we have always loved and recommended for you. For the first category let us recommend the Basic BrainFuck party in Roham which despite of the weird name promises a great party if you are an experimental, curious and open person.
For the good old one category there is always Vittula for us, just in the heart of the city, this weekend entertaining us with a Küss Mich party. Can you imagine any band being not very good with such a name?

Saturday
After such a busy Friday, if you still feel the power in you - and in your feet - climb the stair of Corvintető (or use the elevator...) to arrive in the world of Mike Hulme. Great party, and with good (not too windy) weather conditions an open roof will be in your service that night.

If you're a bit more tired or just want to feel the 'pubbing' side of Budapest night, just call some friends, have a drink and chat all through the night in one of the gorgeous pubs of the city.
