Light jogging or Marathon sweat - Budapest has it all

I have found this cool application. It actually shows running routes, which I believe could be of great help to some joggers coming to this city.

I have chosen to present the classy Margit Island - in the evenings it is crammed with joggers but it is still one of the best routes. If you get there by sunset you will probably have to stop your legs for a second to admire the beautiful lights on the castle hill or the Parliament.

My personal favourite is Normafa, where you find yourself practicly in the woods and the best panorama in the city, but the downside is its being far from the centre.

For more routes in Budapest, check out the webpage here!

Beware, there are also some marathon routes - Budapest organizes the 42 km long world famous run every year around this time of year. It can be a perfect way to spend a weekend in Budapest.

The French group I was guiding had a lot of fun. They were terribly exhausted after the walk, they had even difficulties to come doen the stairs to the wine cellar, but had fun on the wine tasting dinner organized by Budapest Underguide, which has been the travel partner for Budapest Marathon for years.
