whats up budapest? - regular underground partyguide

First of all, sorry for putting the guide on friday evening, internet was far today :) But the night is young and anyway there is tomorrow

Have you ever thought about having weekends in just one period of the year (for example in summer only)? That would be awful. But don't worry, even though  the late summer days we had this November are coming to an end, there are still weekends. This means you can go out, even when it is so hard moving out of the warm and comfortable room.  Keep in mind, weekends are the only time when you can go out and spend the other day with sleeping.

Friday
Enthusiastic readers must have realized that the writers of this blog love walking for some reason. It's not a party by definition, but I would suggest having a walk on Stylewalker Night. This late evening event is for those who are interested in buying the freshest stuff of young and nice Hungarian designers. In some of the shops colourful exhibitions, dry champagne and not too loud music are more than likely to appear.

Right after meeting all the trendy kids in town, why don't just go to Mono? Casino Bangkok is probably the most famous regular techno party in Budapest, organized by the NVC (No Vidra Crew) guys. Hundred percent Hungarian, hundred percent techno, we trust them.

Saturday
Committed to arts? Loving those openings with snacks and wine as well? Also up for some dancing? The perfect place to be on Saturday night is the Portfolio Points Grand Opening Party in West Balkán. Portfolio Points is about to bring contemporary art closer to us; a nice and friendly step in this process is the opening party, where you can dance on four stages. For those who can't choose, I would suggest making some moves to the music of the Girls&Mathematics djs.

We don't give up and still recommend checking Szikra, the newest venue in Budapest. On Saturday night, the ones who love hip-hop shouldn't miss AkkezdetPhiai and Busa Pista. I warn you, some Hungarian knowledge is more than useful this night, these guys really do know something about lyrics.

Take your knitted scarf and hat on, it's getting colder!
